flame me!

I saw a video of a 911ST being revved and there were flames coming out of both exhaust pipes.

Is this because it was a "straight exhaust" minus any muffler or cat ? ( forgive me, I know little...

this may be a dumb question- but in that situation couldn't he have just pulled the DME relay??

I've been told that the 944's won't start without one. Are 911's the same?

I remember seeing same decal on some 944's a while back.

Car was bought off lot and it's bare bones- not even a rear wiper- which makes it unlikely it would have any "special"...
