Wire Harness route?

So 20 years ago I took it all apart for a restoration and memory of how it all goes back together becomes a challenge.
How does the harness go near the steering column bracket and under the dash....

firewall rubber mats

I am doing a complete restore; so what is the thinking about reinstalling the rubber mats that go on the firewall inside and out? I suspect since they are sort of heavy that people do not put them...

I would check all electrical grounds for clean tight connections. Fuel filter, fuel tank internal strainer, fuel tank vent is actualy venting, and electrical fuel pump conections. Good luck!
