Yeah, I tried that but that picture sure isn't from a 964. I need a 964 owner to pull the fuse block cover and have a look for the wiper/washer circuit fuse rating. Thank you for trying to help....

Hi 964 Pelicans. Blowing wiper fuse when I pull back on the stalk
to turn on the windshield washers. The one in the circuit is a 7.5
Amp. Is this the same as yours? I'm thinking I put in the wrong...

An old school Audi tech told me that you could fry the diode trio in the
alternator if you didn't disconnect the battery before installing the new
alternator.
