Hendog: I am really more concerned that the belt is too tight, not too loose. I would guess that if it was to tight it might still turn the motor beyond the compression point no?

When I pulled my pedal cluster for a rebuild I found a really nice silver Porsche Pen. Has a miniature Porsche crest on the pcoket clip. I've never seen one before and have no idea how old it is......

yup, that engine belongs to Mike Bavaro of Body Motion here in NJ. It sits in the waiting area of his shop giving us something fun to look at while he's doing work on our cars!

WTB 8.5x16 Sewer Lids

A friend with an 88 944 is in need of a replacement wheel.
part number 928.362.117 : A rear 8.5"x16" wheel. This wheel was an option on the 87 944. the offset is 52.3
if anyone has on of these...
