I wish I would have come across this post earlier as it took me a few weeks of diagnosis and $700 in "tune up"...

Nowadays there are alternatives, a LiFePO4 w/ a proper BMS makes for a good packaging improvement.

The bouncing is the frequency valve doing it's thing. If you disconnect the 02 sensor it will settle down. I've played with going unplugged vs plugged for the 02 sensor in many different scenario's...

The 3.6 fuel system (over the 3.3) has a different WUR. The difference is the on boost pressure drop (1.3 bar to 1.6 bar if memory serves). If you're hands on you can easily do this...
