Maybe an aluminum strip countersunk with stainless flat heads? Or countersunk makrolon and aluminum tape as trim. Truthfully think it looks pretty cool and purposeful even as-is.

Such a cool history...this was surely a suspension failure of some sort, even if a tire were going down one wouldn't expect such a violent result. For it to happen in T1 though, scary timing!
