You really cant just adjust a 911 clutch with no prior knowledge and no feeler gauges. You need to follow workshop manual...

I have a 95 993 motor in a 78 SC, its not running great, I'm still running the CIS fuel pump and its 30 years old.

What pump would you Pelicans reccommend?

Thanks, I wondered about that. I'd try to add some damping to the cable but I dont see how to do that without making the throttle slow to shut which wouldnt be any good.

I just took it for a drive, its about freezing point out there, I only went a mile or so, but it was as warm as toast in there, plenty of heat coming in.

I'd say much more than that at idle. At idle on mine you could not feel any warm air flow coming out of the vents in the dash top. It was hopeless. Now you can feel it, enough to do a decentish job...

The pedal does not come all the way up to the top, it comes to rest about anc inch or two lower than the brake pedal, I can lift it back up, and it stays there, but wont return on its own...
