I was thinking more about that the pressurized fuel around the needle valve will follow the threads down to the float-chamber. Normal straight threads do not seal ( like conical threads do).

Hi!

I like this needle valve, but how do you seal it between the threads of the valve and the threads of the housing? Maybe You should use a nylock lock nut to be sure?

The engine is recently installed, and this is the first time I'm running it.

Yes the jets and jet holders are standard Weber IDA / IDS. The throttles has to be made for different bores. So far I have bought the venturis, however these are quite easy to make.

The mold and cores are made from Petro-bond sand, The rod is actually a tube that helps alignment of the cores, and also alignment when machining the throttle...

Does anybody know the weber set-up for the 911R?
I know they used Weber 46 IDA's, but how were those jetted?

I have a 911SC 1981 ROW(204hp) with rebuilt weber carbs.
The engine backfires alot at constant speeds, and I suspect the dissy is way off.

which flywheel and clutch do I need?
The 1982 engine has the bigger 9bolt crankshaft, so I don't see how a different flywheel will fit the engine.
