I looked at the throttle switch, unplugged the wire. The switch itself has 3 metal prongs, the wire has a place for 3 but only has 2 metal connectors. Is this normal?

John, Thanks for the input. I will check, but I believe they are fairly new.

The mechanic thought it was the throttle switch or the AFM.
He changed the switch, but didn't fix the problem.
