Update... I haven't taken the old trans out yet but I did get the transmission unstuck to where I can now rotate the drive shaft and get to the bolts to undo them. I revved the engine to 4 grand and...

I don't ever believe in the 174,000 mile life of this car that the brake rotors have ever been changed, everything around the suspension and brakes are rusted even though the car is A1 condition on...
