To be clear, these are not allen bolts. They are threaded studs screwed into the case and locked in place with Locktite.

The squeeze on the heads is done with a blind allen nut...

As I said, eliminate the icv as a possible issue by plugging the tube.

You may have to remove the muffler to get at a couple of bolts.
