Once you start driving, turbulence reduces underhood temps to almost ambient; it's only really hot right next to the block.

That said, I have ducting and a shroud on my cone filter setup.

As long as the wiring plugs were the same, you should have been fine.

Now you've got a cylinder full of hot air and pure o2 and gasoline fumes. Super insanely lean mixture....

I don't use NOS in 1st because it's too easy to bump the rev lmiiter in 1st, and that will instantly grenade...
