Is this the right position for #1? Photo of distributer and photo of pulley. Sounds like air coming out the exhaust. Not lined up...

Good video, thanks. As I mentioned there are several notches on mine so I need to figure that out but got good info from all here to work with. Hope to leak down and compression numbers tomorrow.

I thought when the rotor in the distributor points at the notch on the edge, that's TDC of either #1 or #4 cylinder.

Thanks. My pulley has all kinds of notches on it and no Z1. I guess I need to remove all valve covers and check lash.

Ordered parts and will update after. Hope new injectors cure that hot cylinder. I don’t know what else to do about it so open for more suggestions.

Finally got the injectors out after much soaking...

Finally got the injectors out after much soaking and pulling and they all squirt the same amount of fuel. Pulled the spark plugs and they all look the same. Exhaust head studs there and tight.
