While in there, why not considering an RS short-shifter mod? It's also inexpensive! Nothing to modify except turning upside down that oval bushing.

As you say, fronts are much the same, so likely compatible; rears are a different story: apart from the roll bar bracket, I suspect the coilover length could be different [emoji53]
