Not sure about the boxed rockers... but the 1989 930 LE (luxury edition??) model had the rear flare vents. Both cab and coupe versions. Yes they were rare.

Easy fix. Found it by accident. Took out my catch can and some of the hoses. Cleaned every thing up. We tried to reroute the remaining hoses to the oil tank neck breather...
