My vinyl dash is cracked as well. Once I have tackled all the mechanical issues, I may send it out for repair. I see the dash "caps" for sale, but haven't seen many positives remarks about them.

1979 row 928 has lost both low beam lights. About a year ago, we had the same problem with the high beams - replacing the relay high beam solved the problem. But what relay operates the low beams?...

Update: seems that when I was putting the relay in, I was actually pushing two wire connectors out the back of the panel. So I had to install the wires onto the relay from the back of the panel....
