Thanks for all the comments. Any guess as to what the setting should be?
I imagine it's just an "x" gap inbetween the pulley and the top of the adjuster. i'm sure someone out there has seen a pair...

Stupid question. May be its my old age; I can’t find my owners manual or remember which light is the oil pressure waring light on my 68 911. Is it red or green?
