Timing is OK ish now but the mnarks jump around alot - the person who built up my engine a couple of years ago said it's pretty worn - a job for...

When I take my foot off the throttle - not driving - just revving the car up - it deccelerates nice and quick but then hangs around 2000 RPM ish for a second or two before continuing back to tickover...

Done it - my meter connects differently to the ones folk refer to on the boards.. + to battery, - to battery and the third blue wire to the dist.. Got to points to 36 degrees - just within spec......

...that the meter is faulty - it is quite old.. It reads voltage OK though so can't be completely fried...
