At idle with the clutch disengaged I have always experienced "clutch Noise like a chattter" that goes away when the clutch is engaged. I have been told all S2's do this, can anyone confirm this fact...

Wining sound from engine, alternator?

I have just started getting a wining sound for the engine bay coming from the direction of the alternator. Just had the water pump belts etc replaced. Could the mechanic have tightend the belts too...
