I use all of those process, most of my molds are HTC some aluminum it depends on the pattern. I make my patterns on many different things, from a surface plate to a plank of oak.

Yes its the same size as the "other" watershield, the only difference is the weight. the carbon fiber watershield weighs 7.8oz and the steel watershield is 1.12lbs.
