I did end up speaking with Mr. Steve Rowe, seemed willing enough to take on the project, I haven’t reached out to anyone else yet as I’ve been super busy at work....

the water proofing on modern Porsche's are very water tight. as long as there is not enough pressure to push past the seals (it didn't get deep enough) then there is nothing for it to short out to....
