oil leaking on new rebuild right rear behind chain case.. what are the chances of it being the oring/gasket for the cam or the end of the rocker shaft?? we put the special orings on the rocker shafts...

I would agree with the TB wear, strange that it changes when warm.. i do have some wear there. I also have found if you spray anything around even a real good TB you can pull in some to change idle...

ok so you have a 2k idle with ALL linkage disconnected and your unisyn shows no change between T bodies you should not have a vaccum leak. Did you disconnect the MFI linkage as well ? maybe recheck...

I just rebuilt my 1970 E and had a similar issue with throttle linkage..
Two problems:

1) throttle linkage rod not adjusted right (not long enough) where it goes down to the link at...

Hey , trying to remove original radio from the dash on my 70-E ..removed the knobs but cant seem to see how the strip of panel is removed from the dash to get further access to pull the radio.....

just overhauled my 70 E, I ran the elec fuel pump to prime the system with the key on..verified fuel to the MFI pump.. took out spark plugs to spin faster as engine new and tight. loosened inj lines...

Does anyone know why you would get engine oil from the oil tank on a 70'-T up the vent hose and spill into the air cleaner housing?? It will do it when running and the nose of the car is elevated...

Question:,,,I understand a flex tube hooks from the underside of the air cleaner snorkel and goes to the short metal tube (about 1-1/2" dia) below the oil filter located on the top of "frame rail"....
