1) Stick circlip pin in hole just above the nozzle on the head.
2) Unscrew allen bolt that holds the cable in the head.
3) Pull out cable.

Well if you are just buying it to part out, you'll want to purchase it lower than that to make it worth while. A pristine really nice 1982 SC is in the low side of mid teens. Targa is worth less.

The Ohm resistance was changed after 73 to 3 ohms. Those should be 1.0 ohm wires which I believe you said they were. Condition of rubber on ends and boots is most important. But as a prior post...
