I have an 89 and the pad was starting to come apart or at least sagging pretty good, I installed the PadKeeper (no association) which was very easy and everything looks great

I have an 89 Cab and about 5 years ago had the main bow break as well as one of the transmissions for the top. I disconnected that part and use it as manual up and Down, still use the power locks....
