2001 Tiptronic
2001 2.7 with Tip. Runs great! Shifts like a champ. Had a trans fluid leak. My Import Mechanic says "needs new Torque converter and pump. $3700 later he says it doesn't shift at all now and the tranny is bad. What did he do? Should I have to pay for this. HELP!!!!!

2001 - Not a 924/944/968, might want to post in the correct forum.
What do you have in writing from him? Did he check your original fluid level? Was it perhaps low enough to cause damage to the transmission? |
