Wheel locks on 997
Happy Thanksgiving all,
I recently began replacing the front brake pads on my 997 C4S convertible and ran into a problem. When I acquired the car I failed to make certain I had the wheel lock/key and do not have one. I am told there are 42 different keys? My search has not revealed a source for the wheel lock/key I need. Does anyone know of a source? Are there any recommendations for removing the current lock? Thanks, BillyRay

The dealer and most tire shops should be able to get them off, they have like a “skeleton “ key that fits many lugs
Did you check in the frunk? There is a spot just for the lug key Also it may be buried in the glove box

+1 on dealer.
Best solution is to buy 4 wheel lugs and have the dealer put them on when the puzzle locks are removed.

The dealer has a master set. Drive there, and buy a spare key from them. They may have to order it. The first thing I buy for any Porsche is an extra wheel lock and keep it in the tool box.
Better yet, get rid of the lock. These are now older cars and wheel theft is not much of an issue.
