2000 996 cabriolet rear marker light problem
Hello All,
I could really use some help and ideas. I have a 2000 996 911 cabriolet that has one issues. The rear marker light (the smallest bulb on the corner nearest the passenger door on the rear of the car) is not working. I tried replacing the bulb, even swapped the working one from the drivers side incase the auto parts store gave me the wrong one to no avail. I also pulled all of the fuses in the car on the drivers side. (not sure if there is another fuse panel in the car) and with all of that, I still cannot get the light to work. Any ideas or suggestions to help me? |

The metal tab inside the plug socket may be broken
Seems to be pretty common You may be able to take it apart and solder it back together
