Transmission shift linkage
My shift linkage went sloppy on my 1997 Boxster and noticed that shift rod 986-424-931-06 located next to the trans had popped out of the ball socket. I ordered a new one and noticed a retainer clip on the top connection however not sure the bottom requires a similar clip securing the ball in the socket.
