Porsche electric powersteering?

I am building a project car using Porsche products, I'm wondering if Porsche has ever used electric power steering in any 911 family models? i.e. 996,997.991 and if this can fit on the 993 power rack/pinion platform?
thanks, kholm

Both EZ and EPAS make units for the 911 so I presume that they would fit/make them for the 993.
Good Luck.
