boxster driver window, need dimensions for mounting

I have a 2002 boxster with a missing front driver door window. I have now obtained a replacement window but have no idea where to mount windowl I see where it is advised to place tape when removing. I can't do that. Anyone have an idea where to mount tape so I can install. Thanks. If there is a post with this information please advise.
