997 steering wheel locked
I went to start my 2010 carrera s4 cab today, key turns but no start, message on info center says, steering locked, relive steering. The car had been parked in a parking garage for about a week, backed in, wheels not turned at an angle. I’m at a loss. Please help if you offer any advice.

Problem solved, my Porsche mechanic (my GF) suggested I move the steering wheel adjustment lever to the open position. I did that and viola, driving the 911 again. But now I have to pay her the going Porsche mechanic rate. Down 250 but it’s fixed.

The wheel lock may be bound
Put the key in and turn it to the on position Then try turning the wheel left and right to release the lock
