That is very much not standard, looks like a cut and shut to me, nothing like that was never produced by porsche to market.

That being said, it looks ok, and reasonably well done, I'd be cautious that it's been in an accident if you are buying it though and if you are happy with a Frankenstein boxster.

I am very happy with it because I built it.
It’s all cold formed steel, by hand and shaping hammers plus factory spec spot welds Also Seamless welds hammered and finished. Widened 16 inches and everything I re engineered and reinstalled identical to factory or better standards. It’s much much better than “reasonably well done” . It’s perfect. My goal was to build it to look as if Porsche factory built it. I think I accomplished that.

It looks like you did an awesome job on it - the body gaps i can see look about perfect. If I have a quibble design wise, it's that the angles on the rear end look a little Nissan Z like... The "Turbo" badge doesn't bother me (it is a turbo right?) I also like that you used the tail lights from a 991...

Not really a Speedster in the classic Porsche vein, no humps behind the seats fading into the rear decklid.

Maybe it has a turbo or two. Plenty of room to hide them under that wide body. I built a mid engine 1984 Rabbit Convertible with a GM V6 and a turbo. Anything is possible right?

Nice work. A head turner, and head scratcher.
