Gundo vs Fister Opinions
Hey guys,
Looking to do the bypass mod and was hoping for some input regarding the two methods most common for doing it. 1. Bypass pipe run from the capped end muffler port to the outlet pipe....ala PSE style. 2. Fister mod with bypass pipe running between the inlet and outlet pipes of the muffler. Which do you guys prefer and why?......looking for an aggressive tone but without drone which is why im doing it this way rather than upgrading to new mufflers or catback changeout. Here's what I've "heard".....doesn't mean anything but is just what I'm currently using to determine what I want. I've heard the PSE style bypass pipe setup is much more "Porsche" sounding and aggressive when on the throttle.....while the Fister style mod is more grainy and higher pitched sounding and essentially like that all the time. Educate me with your experience! |

I don’t have any experience with the gundo hack, but I can’t say enough good things about my fister modified cans...I did also put a sharkwerks crossover pipe...it makes a glorious noise with absolutely no drone...you can have a whisper conversation on the highway...but when you put your foot in it...wow! I rarely listen to the radio when ‘exercising’ my 10 C4S...and the guys at fister are great to work with...lemme know if you have any questions and good luck
