Help identifying transaxle
Transaxle question. Can you help identify my transaxle and slave cylinder? I need a new one and can't seem to match the slave cylinder up with the correct one.
I own a factory five GTM. I'm running an iron block LSX and a Porsche transaxle. I bought the transaxle from G-Box back in 2012. I was told it was a G96/88 GT2 Porsche 996 rear wheel drive 2002-05. But everytime something breaks I have a hard time finding the correct part when I'm looking for a 2002-05 GT2. Last part was the starter. This time it's the clutch slave cylinder. I don't know one Porsche transaxle from another. But I do have a part number on the trans. G96962004193 see attached pic. Also attached a few pictures of the trans and the car. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yeah. I seen that too. But I'm not sure that's the part number.

Cross check part number for GR3 and GT2 slave cylinder. My guess is they’re the same part Number. Call Pelican as well. They’ll help of you don’t have pn’s.
