Transporting from CA to VA

[VApello]

Hi Guys,

I'm moving from the San Fernando Valley, CA to Richmond, VA. I own a 997-C4S Targa & will be transporting the vehicle & was wondering what companies you recommend. I received a quote from Montway Auto Transport but not familiar with them. Just looking for a reputable shipping company that wont mess with my car.

Thanks!

No company has it’s own drivers these days… in my experience paying more for covered shipping will get you the best drivers/operators.

The guys on Rennlist recommended Bears Transport. They had good things to report. 👍🏼 Went with covered transport option.

Ask your local Porsche dealer for a recommendation. I bought one from a dealer, sight unseen during COVID and had them arrange shipping from Chicago. Do not go with uncovered transport to save money. It isn't worth the risk.
