Due to proliferation of scammers…..administrators want posters to communicate by posting …pictures validate your authentic and a new poster always needs to prove their legitimacy.

They priced themselves out of the market and only good foey r yesterday's information. I kept mine until they reduced the size of the comics so small that a microfiche reader was needed.

I think I know, but are these wheels worth all the fuss? I'm a new member on the boards and need to post, to prove I'm real. I am! After 15 yrs, I'm trying to get my '66 912 on the road. I have a real set of these wheels sitting on my car. There seems to be a few things I have, that I don't understand the value of. Fill me in.

The wheels posted above appear to be 15x5.5 heart wheels and the scammer lifted the picture from ebay, offered the wheels at about half the going rate for a restored set.

Non heart (bump at valve stem) wheels are cheaper. Mid 70s flat wheels are even cheaper, and 14” flat fuchs are even cheaper yet. You need to take a close look at the wheels which are on your 912 to determine exactly what you have.
