996 airbag wiring diagram

My 996.2 Carrera shows the airbag warning light at the instrument cluster after I remove it for hadzard light switch replacement. I visually check the connectors at the back of the instrument cluster and airbag control unit but they are all fine. Before I remove this there is no wanring light. Everthing works fine.

When I look at the wiring diagram, I have some questions regarding this.
1. There is horizontal dash line (red arrow) which comes from the solid vertical line that goes to the air bag control unit box. What does it mean? It has no connector pin that goes into.

2. From the same solid vertical line on the left, there are dash lines which go to the switches. Where do the switch locate? I only see the connector with electrical wires from the airbag control unit.

Any advice? Thank you.
