3.2 Motronic DME / ECU

Posting it for a local friend. A spare 3.2 Motronic DME ECU. From the numbers it came from an 87 with a 24 pin chip. The unit can be used in any 3.2 from 84 to 89. How is this better than stock? I am showing my ignorance but really would like to know the benefits?

It's a standard 3.2 DME unit from an 87. I never said it was better than stock. If you want better than stock, you need to install a performance chip, which is not included and a different topic all together.
