Extracting oil vs drain plug on a 997.2

Porsche newbie here. A really sweet 997.2 Carrera 4 Cab followed me home and I am both thrilled and impressed. I'm mentally preparing for the first oil change and am wondering if you folks extract oil or if you use the drain. I am a big fan of extracting after performing a few tests and finding that drain plugs leave more oil than extracting does. Looking at the drain plug design and casting of the pan, it sure looks like it is a candidate for extracting but I am looking for input from folks with experience.

Drain plug. Drain plug points straight down. Super simple and no mess. I have the LN Engineering spin-on filter, so that just goes in the basin too.

Use the drain plug . And let it drain overnight , there is a good amount of oil in the heads and it takes a while to fully drain .

The drain plug is the way to go. Changing oil on one of these cars is a piece of cake.
