ATV lift to drop motor
Has anyone used an ATV lift to drop the engine and trans. I have a 99 996 and will be dropping the motor. I was thinking of getting an ATV lift as they are rated for 1500lb and considered adding a platform using 1 inch plywood.

I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work if you've got something underneath to support it. I've used ATV lifts for BMW transmissions with decent success.
