Frunk Actuator for 2005 997.2
Maybe someone has experience with this. I need a Front Truck Actuator but can not seem to find the right part number.
Does anyone know if there is a difference between a 2005 996 and 997.1 Actuator I found a Pelican Replacement video for a 997.2 Front Actuator but nothing for the 997.1 They sure look the same. Thank you in advance for sharing if you know. george |

According to Porsche the same part fits 2005 - 2013.

The 996 and 997.1 front trunk actuators look similar but have different part numbers and electrical specs-so they're not always interchangeable. The 997.2 actuator shown in the Pelican video won't work reliably on a 997.1 due to wiring changes. Best to match the OEM part number using your VIN.
