Street - Track alignment for 996 C2
Just purchased a 2001 996 C2.
I have been tracking / racing 986 for 4 years and proper track alignment made a huge difference to that mid engine car. I had on 986 the following alignment and it seemed to work well mainly driven at the track with occasional street driving: FRONT: - toe +0,01* (out) - camber -2,4* REAR: - toe -0,02* (in) - camber -1,9* How about 996.1 C2 alignment for track - street use? All advice is most welcome specially from the folks who track their 996 C2. |

For your 996.1 C2 (track-focused, streetable), start with:
Front: • Camber: -2.4° • Toe: 0 to slight toe out (+0.01°) Rear: • Camber: -2.0° • Toe: slight toe in (~+0.10° per side) Add max negative camber you can get with stock arms. This setup balances front bite and rear stability. Consider camber plates if needed. |
