lowering the Carrera 1.5 inches.
I have had a 99 6 sp base coupe for thirteen years.
I have had all the predictive maintenance. preventive & routine maintenance done. However, now with 103K I know the suspension should be looked at. I would like to drop the car 1.5 inches. No reason except for looks. Going to have the suspension looked at so might as well lower it a little bit. What would you suggest to get it lowered just a bit?

To get that much drop you will probably have to go with height adjustable coilovers . Bring your wallet if you like quality stuff . And while you are in there change all suspension pieces so you are 100 % good to go after a alignment and possible corner balance .
A good compromise is the ROW M030 setup . It gives you " euro height " vs US height . My 99 996 C4 has it with Bilstein B8 shocks/struts and it handles great and looks good . But it's not 1.5 " lower .
