 but I want to know what is the price of this beauty cars when it new .. thanks .. ! David

depends on the options but around 32k-35k is my bet...

after taxes, delivery, licensing, and everything else, i paid over $60k back in 1988 for a factory-delivered 88.

I'm not sure .. but I ever seen a lots of extras .. in the 951 .. as sound or whatever .. special specs offer in the 88 turbo S are only for this model .. of avaulable for others 951 ..

That didn't take long! Googled "Inflation calculator" and came up with this:
What cost $30,000 in 1986 would cost $51,389.81 in 2005. Also, if you were to buy exactly the same products in 2005 and 1986, they would cost you $30000 and $17513.20 respectively

Just for giggles, that 1988 951 for $60K? Here's your numbers, read 'em and weep: What cost $60000 in 1988 would cost $97358.31 in 2005. Also, if you were to buy exactly the same products in 2005 and 1988, they would cost you $60000 and $36976.81 respectively.

I was the 2nd owner of an optioned out '89 951. The original price was $51K in Dec'89. I bought it for $16,500 in '98 with 36K miles and sold it in 2001 with 42K miles for $15K. It was a wonderful car. Too nice for me.

My '86 went out the door $34.5K. I didn't get a radio with it. I did all that myself after delivery.

Window sticker on my well optioned 89 Turbo shows out the door price of $48,7XX including all options, tax and destination charges, etc.
