Camshaft & pistons for 3.0 turbo

Since I have decided to fit a 951 turbo system with 8-valve head on my S2, I need a new camshaft & lifters.
Any recommendations for other than the stock grind 951 cam?
Is it possible to get Mahle 3.0 Turbo pistons from any source at any price?
Thanks.
Len

Hi, Len,

You might check with Jon Milledge for recommendations.

That said, the camshaft from an 85/2-88 944 is said to have better characteristics for a turbo than the stock turbo cam.

Fun fact about the cam. I've never heard that before.

there's also an 8valve 928 cam out there somewhere that has an interesting profile for a turbo 944
