Keep looking. Summer is hard, since everybody wants to drive their Porsche in the summer, but start looking around October, when people are getting ready to buy 4wd cars...

what are you looking to spend? Are you having trouble finding a cherry one, or finding one in your price range?

Unfortunately, mine is in SoCal. It is listed on Ebay right now. Check out the pictures and drop me a PM if interested.

102,800 miles, rebuilt engine by prior owner with widefire headgasket but no receipts exceprt for whats been done since I've owned it as PO was a mechanic. I had a Lindsey dual port wastegate, Lindsey braided stainless fuel lines and a low mileage turbocharger installed in it. Also a rebuilt power steering rack and the thermostat that controls the post shut down water pump. New female hood latch mechanism. Has Cup 2 (993) wheels in black powder coat, Toyo Proxy tires, MagnaFLo stainless muffler, newly reupholstered black vinyl front seats.

Many more pix on Ebay.

'8500' and 'nice' seldom go together.

buy mine!

Only $5500 and we're in Alabama. VG mechanically but original paint. You could put 3k in a killer paint job and have a very nice FAST car.

1986 944 Turbo
122k miles
2nd owner bought in 1997
8k in receipts since then!

That last car has some interesting lines on it. I don't think mine continues the line across the side onto the front through the headlights. I also know that my front airdam (spoiler?) I dunno, front body kit thing looks different.

Is that stock?

Mine was $7,500 and it's definitely "nice". (Granted, I've put almost that much into it again, but the clutch was most of that cost and it doesn't count.)

If he's willing to wait long enough, he'll find a clean, early 951 for $8,500.
