944 turbo speedo sender
ok, just had a track day up at bedford autodrome (my first track day, f***ing awesome) and my cv joint bolts got completely sheered off which was fun, could have been worse, however now my speedo isn't working, i'm guessing this is the speedo sender on the gearbox, can anyone tell me... i've found one on the internet and i just need to know if the sender is different from non-turbo 944's as it just says its a sender for 944's 86 onwards.

Had the same thing happen to me but on the hightway. Driver side CV joint separated at tranny. The half shaft can extend and hit the speedo sender that is mounted on tranny. My sender was smacked off by the halfshaft. Got a used one (sender) from PartsHeaven. If the bolts on CV joint loosen, they get more loading and will shear or completely back out like mine did. Half shaft also took a chunk out of my tranny.
Partsheaven has a warranty on their used parts and are good people to deal with.
