Peak colors won't hit CT for another week or two; I will get out and do some snapping then...

DaveL,
I like the dedication to the shot. Take the picture first and then shift into second gear after hitting 6400 RPM. Those are some nice shots.

Nice fall foliage. Reminds me of fall season in Colorado. Be sure to go back to the same locations and get pictures of the deepest snow fall this winter. Would make a great comparison.

P.S. You don't have to be in the 944.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

Its a patented 31 step process involving witch craft, midgets and a 45 gallon drum of mayonaise.

Seriously i just wash them along with the rest of the car, I have never paid too much attention to them.

looking at pictures of my old car they were nice and clear too. Do you have glass fog lights? Or maybe they were replaced at some point with a plastic lense??

95% sure they're glass...
they're a clouded yellow/brownish on the inside.

I have never tried to open mine, but can't you take the lens off and use a glass polish to clean them? I know of some stuff for plastic, but if they are glass, then use a glass polish and that should clean them right up. Probably could put some rain-x on there to help keep them from getting dull in the future although I'm not sure how rain-x would handle the heat. Might want to read the bottle before doing that.
