I soved my "gearbox whine"
My gearbox whine was the left front wheel bearing that was too tight
I repaced the bearing and the noice disppeared. Just for those of you that might be a bit hearing impaired like myself.

I repacked the bearings a while ago and tightened it too much. The inner and outer races as well as the inner and outer bearing were damaged. Marks visible to the eye, and it was pretty "rough" when I turned the bearing with my fingers in the races. An engineering shop pressed the old races out and the new races in.
This higher pitch rumbling trnasferred to the cockpit and with my hearing that not 100% I initially thought it was the gearbox or even the bearings in the torque tube.
