What connector is this?
Im trying to get my car started.. 944s 87, and i noticed that under the distributor cap this was disconnected:
what does this disconected plug go to?  Thanks! |

Not to sure, but you may want to do something bout those ignition wires.

I agree with you on the ignition wires.. i mean its only the heat shielding thats really f-ed and im still getting a strong spark...

oil level indicator - some cars had the wiring for it, but not the sensor.

How does it test the oil level at the top of the engine?

well.. my oil level light is not on.... are you sure? Its a one wire connector... resembles a antenna cable/conector.

Yes, that is the connector for the oil level sensor. Porsche phased in the oil level sensing in MY 1987. Some cars had the sensor, but no wiring, some had the wiring, but no sensor.
